| To any residents of New Eltham, especially those near the crossways. There are plans to build an 80 bed hotel on the site of the former crossways pub which is currently a burger king. The plans are totally ill fitting with the area and the hotel would be a complete eyesore! They plan to have 80 rooms yet only 40 car parking spaces which would cause havoc in new eltham, let alone the disruption that would be caused whilst the building work went ahead. The building of this hotel would not boost the community as it stands. Greenwich council have allegedly sent letters to local residents, many of which have not been received. If you feel that the hotel planning permission should not go ahead, please contact Greenwich council's planning department. You can email your objections to jacob.jaarsma@greenwich.go.uk |

| I live in Ann Arbor,Michigan USA. I was recently going through some old photos that my father had from World War II. My father served in the US Army Air Corp in North Africa, and he told me that they were attached to the British 8th Army, I believe. Anyway there was a photo that I had never seen before of a man standing on top of a truck loading it. The photo was tucked in amongst other photos that my father had in a photograph wallet. On the back of the photo was written: Paddy to Goldie (my father's name was Goldwin) and the address 319 Rochester Way, Eltham, London SE. I Googled the address and came up with this website. I was hoping that someone knew the address, if it's still there, and maybe Paddy's family. I don't have a last name. It's a longshot. Thanks |

Hi
I'm looking for anyone that knew the Warman family (George, Esther, George, Olive, Gyn) that lived in Dorset Road, Mottingham and then Albert Road, Mottingham. Or if there are any Warmans still living in the area that maybe related. |

| I am looking for any information regarding Kirks Yard in Eltham High Street. I am familiar with the High Street but would ideally like to know where Kirks Yard originally stood. I know that it existed in 1921. Any help would be gratefully received. Many thanks. |
